About Ben and Kelsey’s Wedding
It is raining today at Twin Harbors next to the Pacific Ocean and I am rested, 12 hours of solid sleep, so I have time to write.  Rain is a blessing.
Ben looked so different at the wedding playing music and singing around the wedding fire and even though I had not been thinking of him as a little boy for a long while I saw that little boy again.  He was just so happy.
And Kelsey was just the most calm and beautiful of all women all day in her lace wedding dress, my wonderful new daughter. Linda, her true mother, spent hours and hours sewing the wedding dress.  The pig roast and gourmet food was just a super supper. The flowers were just glorious! Kelsey arranged her own bouquet. And Pat and I worked several days to help put everything together from the fresh blackberry lemonade to the altar.
You will see some photos once we have 4G again. It is easier to load from the phone vs. from email. I hate to disappoint but Pat forgot to take any photos with his phone, but luckily lots of Ben’s friends came through. I can't download them all and so far only one has the cows in the background. Toby is going to send some so you will see more in the next blogg.
The wedding service was unusual, no "god" word the whole time, but Minister Leslie made it clear that the marriage was a spiritual joining of two like minds and hearts. He was funny as well as sincere, knowing both Ben and Kelsey well. Ben and Kelsey wrote their vows (like Pat and I did over 40 years ago).  There was crying and laughing.  I wish all of you the same joy as the Kozaks (Linda, Chuck and Kristin) and the Scott-Killians (Pat, Toby and myself) have in our hearts.
Ben, Leslie-the minister and Beautiful Kelsey
