UUA GA

Providence RI and UUA GA was just plain fun and also inspiring and educating at times.  Walking among the old brick buildings on clean streets to the River Park was our first "hiking" days on this wayfarin journey.  Searching for truth is part of the journey and so Pat and I find ourselves still in conversation about some of the workshops.  Pat took some photos and will post them if they are any good.
Now the trails at Glimmerglass  St. Park are along forests and wildflower meadows and the cracks in the dirt paths are not as tripping-up as in the streets.  Being a lover of dirt and soil, I find the smell as enticing as the view of the light shimmering off the lake.

Getting Real

It's starting to get real.  Getting nervous about things we may have forgotten to do.  Getting very excited about the prospects of being on the road for 4 months, going to a wedding, having fun, getting fit, etc.  10 days and counting!
Stefani taught her last class today.  38 years of minds awakened.  So many lives of meaning and purpose launched.  They come back and see her from time to time. In turn, they awaken the next generations.  Her impact is exponential.
Took some pictures today of favorite local scenes to remind us of home.  Here is one of my prize kousa dogwood in all of its June splendor.

And the view of the Gamecock cottage and Stony Brook inlet.
